ELISAPIE – “UUMMATI ATTANARSIMAT (Glass Heart)” (blonde cover)
Montreal-based folk artist Elisapie shared her cover of Blondie’s “Heart of Glass”, which has been translated into Inuktitut. She says: “My mother-in-law is from the small village of Ivujivi. C. It’s a 30 minute plane ride from my village. We often go there to visit her family. When we arrived in Ivujivik My parents are going to gamble at my cousin’s house. Creep Show (John Grant + Wrangler) – “Yawning”
Creep Show, a collaboration between John Grant and the Synth Trio Wrangler (which also includes Cabaret Voltaire’s Stephen Mallinder, Tuung’s Phil Winter and Ben “Benge” Edwards), returns with a sequel to Mr Dynamite. The 2018 release is titled Yawning Abyss and will be released on June 16th via Bella Union. Check out the title track.
