The interview comes just days after Jane told the trend She doesn’t take ‘proud’ of getting a facelift.

She said: ‘I had a facelift and I stayed because I don’t want to look distorted. I’m not proud that I had one.

‘Now, I don’t know if I’d have to finish it if I did it. But I did. I admit it, and then I say, well, you might be addicted. Don’t keep doing A lot of women, I don’t know, are used to it.’

Jen then touched on how aging doesn’t have to be scary, saying she wanted to bring awareness that there are ways to age in a positive and healthy way.

‘I want young people to stop being afraid of growing up. What matters is not the age, not the chronological number. What matters is your health,’ she explained, noting that her father died of heart disease when he was ‘six years younger than now.’

Jane began acting on the Broadway stage in 1960, before kickstarting her Hollywood career shortly thereafter, when she starred in a series of successful films, including Sunday in New York in 1963 and Barbarella in 1968.
