Speaking to The Indian Express, Alaya F said that she is not a complete ‘nepotism baby’ and that there are different levels of nepotism. She said that her mother Pooja Bedi had quit acting before Alaya was born and that she did not grow up among ‘industry parties’. “I don’t count myself as a complete Nepo baby, because you need to understand that there are different levels. My mother was tired of the industry, she quit acting before I was born. Haven’t grown up among the parties of the world, it hasn’t been my life. So it’s frustrating sometimes because there is a level of nepotism,” Alaya said.
However, she acknowledged her privilege, saying, “At the end of the day, I come from privilege and it’s half of someone else’s journey.
