Actor and director Satish Kaushik, who recently attended Javed Akhtar’s Holi festival in the city, has died after suffering a heart attack at the age of 66. His best friend Anupam Kher shared the news of his death. The veteran actor revealed that Satish was in Delhi at his friend’s house. He became uneasy at about 12:00 AM and told his driver to take him to the hospital. But he died on his way to the hospital. The untimely death of Satish Kaushik shocked the brothers. Recently, director Anees Bazmee expressed his sadness as he spoke to Pinkvilla.
Anees Bazmee remembers Satish Kaushik and their fond memories.
While speaking to us, Anees Bazmee revealed that they had filmed an episode of Kapil Sharma last month and Satish was happy. He also took a walk down memory lane and talked about movies like Swarg and Deewana Mastana. Our relationship goes back a lot. The movie Swarg came out in 1990 and I gave him a good role. He played a character called Airport in that. He was just too good. And then there was Pappu Pager in Deewana Mastana. last month We filmed Kapil Sharma’s show together. It was a director’s special. I was there with Satish Ji and we spent a lot of time because filming lasted quite a long time. We sat together after a long time. He even announced his next project, Kagaz 2. It was a very sad day. He was a good human being and a good friend.”
Director Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 also revealed that Satish Kaushik started going to the gym and became health conscious. He added, “We have many memories together. We worked together in Deewana Mastana and he was also informative. He wrote some of his lines and it was too good. Satish ji and Govinda act together and it turns out that quite tenacious We’ve always been together There was a good connection. It was fun. I’m really sorry. with news and unbelievable We met a month ago. He was so happy. He even started going to the gym. and take care of his health.”
Meanwhile, Satish Kaushik’s remains will be taken to Mumbai once the autopsy is completed in Delhi. His last ritual will be performed today at 6pm in town.
