Britney Spears says he may never play again, but that doesn’t mean he won’t step into the booth again – proven with Elton John … and maybe, soon, with Benny Blanco.
The award-winning record producer – who has actually worked with Britney before – dished all about the possible collaboration while speaking to the radio host Cannon on “Open House Party” — a nationally syndicated show known for playing Top 40 pop songs/fan requests.
In this particular meeting, Benny touches on the fact that he recently contacted BS – about a month ago, he says – to see if she might be interested in joining forces again.
Diehard Britney fans may remember… BB actually helped write and produce her 2008 hit record, “Circus” with Dr. Luke – and was a chart success at the time, actually becoming her second best-selling digital single ever. So yeah…good results.
Anyway … hear what Benny has to say about hooking up again — it sounds like he’s keeping his cards close to the vest here, but he makes it clear that both he and Britney have talked about the possibility of doing something again. Whether she’s taken it for it, we’ll just have to wait and see … but we do know she’s not averse to singing post-conservatory.
Of course she does gave her vocals on a remix of “Tiny Dancer” recently … and it worked out well, although Britney was barely audible on it. So here’s hoping a collaboration with Benny will be everything for her … assuming she’s up for it, that is.
BS recently offered to do so never comes on stage again … clearly out of malice. She says she’s so traumatized by conservatism that she wants to stick it to her father and the company.
We hope Benny is keeping calm because her fans definitely want new things.
