A young Australian designer has scored a major career win after the world’s biggest pop star Beyoncé wears her design in a new photoshoot for her new album Renaissance.

Bethany Cordwell, who works as a costumer for the Queensland Ballet, designed the black-and-white bodysuit using plastic document folders she had bought while working at the office supply retailer OfficeWorks.

Ms Cordwell spent a month sewing 12,000 individually hand-cut plastic pieces into a bespoke bodysuit before morphing them into a form-hugging silhouette.
