Ajay Devgn and Tabu lead Bholaa had a late reservation for the opening day. Although the pre-opening is good. But the momentum wasn’t as good. The film brings Ajay and Tabu back together after the success of Drishyam 2, and similar results are expected from their next collaboration. Bholaa sold 22,000 tickets at National Multiplexes as of 6pm the day before its launch.
Ajay-Tabu starrer has sales of approx. 22,000 tickets from national networks 6 hours before release. The numbers are not enough and at the end of the day The total number of tickets will be around 35,000, which is about a third of the number of tickets Drishyam 2 sold before its release. Unlike Drishyam 2, which launched on a non-holiday Friday, Bholaa benefited from Maha-Shivratri And that should help with the opening day numbers slightly better. Bhola’s launch plans are somewhat mixed.
Bholaa’s debut is an interesting one. In the beginning it benefits from a few days off. But since the launch falls on the day of Ramadan Muslim crowds will stay away. There is no Hindi film competition for three weeks and will enjoy free screenings until Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is released, whether or not the film takes advantage of the release it received.
Bholaa Finds Strong Contender for All India in Dasara
