The 21-year-old actress embodied the look, bejeweled and wearing an elegant white dress with a fitted corset and shimmering satin hooded cape.
She accessorized her regal outfit with a pair of satin cream gloves and pinned an extravagant crown in her dark hair.
Charlotte flashed a solemn look at the camera as she posed in a palace, with floral arrangements and sculptures visible in the background.
In addition to giving a first look at the character, Netflix also revealed that the official title of the prequel will be Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.
She came back! In addition to giving a first look at the character, Netflix also revealed that the official title of the prequel will be Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story
A description of the series reads: “Focusing on Queen Charlotte’s rise to fame and power, this prequel in verse by Bridgerton tells the story of how the young queen’s marriage to King George sparked both a great love story and societal change, creating the world of The Tone , inherited by the heroes at Bridgerton.
The news comes ahead of Netflix’s Tudum fan event on Saturday, where the series will be introduced and more surprising announcements will be revealed.
The prequel will also see Golda Rochewell return as Queen Charlotte in her later years, with Ajoah Ando playing the fierce Lady Agatha Danbury.
Ruth Gemmell will also reprise her role as Lady Violet Bridgerton, while Michelle Fairley will join the cast as Princess Augusta.

Elsewhere, Cory Milchrist will play the young King George and Arsema Thomas will make her TV debut as the young Agatha Danbury.
Set in the mid-18th century, the story follows the young life of Charlotte, the daughter of German royalty who marries Britain’s monarch George III, played in the Netflix drama by Cory Milchrist, in 1761 when she is 17 years.
The marriage lasted 57 years and produced 15 children. Miss Amarteifio, 21, who played headmistress Roz Huntley’s daughter Sophie in the fourth season of BBC drama Line Of Duty, has also starred in Dr Who and ITV’s Unforgotten.
It will also feature the origins of other characters featured in Bridgerton, namely Violet Bridgerton and Lady Danbury.
After rumblings that Bridgerton’s second series didn’t reach the raw heights of the first, producers seem to have taken note, with the prequel to the Netflix drama Queen Charlotte being doctored to keep viewing figures high.

For one scene, according to a source, the wall was reinforced. In another scene, viewers will see crashing boards.
According to a source, there were fears that a steamy love scene involving the young monarch, played by India’s Ria Amarteifio, could be so energetic that it would literally bring the house down.
“There’s a young cast for the prequel and the sex scenes feature them,” an insider said. “It will definitely satisfy those Bridgerton fans who complain that there are no sex scenes in the second series.
“In one storyline, there will be a backboard that hits the wall hard. It will be spicier than anything from the first series.
