The Los Angeles Superior Court suspended reality television star Raquel Lewis following a restraining order against “Vanderpump Rules” co-star Cheana Shay.
According to legal documents obtained by The Times, a judge overturned Levis’ temporary restraining order against Shay, 37, after Leviss failed to appear in court for Wednesday’s hearing.
Earlier this month, Leviss, 28, filed a petition for protection against Shay, who she said pushed her. The alleged altercation occurred after the discovery of an affair between Leviss and Tom Sandoval, co-starring Ariana Madix, longtime girlfriend of the Hollywood Reporter. Sandoval Madix and Sandoval broke up almost immediately.
Following the dismissal, Shay Neama Rahmani’s attorney, who referred to Levis by her name, Rachel, said in a statement Wednesday that her “Vanderpump Rules” client was clear.
“This is not reality TV. This is the real world and Rachel’s actions have real consequences. Rachel files a false report to the police. false medical report and an impolite request for a restraining order,” Rahmani said. It rejected Lewis’ claims of Shay’s violent behavior.
Leviss did not respond to The Times’ request for comment on Wednesday.
In a post-trial video interview, Shay told TMZ that Levis’ legal move “was a publicity stunt from the beginning” and a distraction from Levis’ alleged affair with Sandoval. from) the court system”
When asked if it was possible that she and Lewis would become friends again, Shay replied, “No, that’s hard not to.”
