The pioneering husband and wife duo The War And Treaty are about to release their major label debut album. couples gamesOn March 10th on UMG Nashville, husband and wife couple Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter delve into the love lessons they uncovered. With more than 100 songs composed in the past 2 years, 10 songs have been completed before the project.
The pair are reinventing country music with delta blues, gospel and R&B. They’re on the Rolling Stones’ upcoming 60th anniversary album. Stoned Cold Countrywhere they joined Brothers Osborne in a rousing performance of “It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll (But I Like It).” The duo performed the song at last year’s CMA Awards premiere.
The War And Treaty will join Chris Stapleton on the All-American Road Show Tour, but first they will bring their performance. “From concert to religious experience” to more than 35 cities this spring on their very own Lover’s Game Tour, kicking off March 19 in Oklahoma City.
Michael and Tanya discuss the inspiration behind the album. their newfound success And some of the wisdom that Grand Ole Opry member Jeannie Seely shared with them during a recent show.
