Claire Danes is hard at work filming the upcoming drama miniseries Fleishman Is In Trouble with Jesse Eisenberg and Lizzy Caplan.

But on Thursday, the actress took advantage of some time off and went for a casual stroll with husband Hugh Dancy.

They made their way through the busy Manhattan street, talking and laughing, and finally reached a restaurant.

Danes, 43, went casual and comfortable in the fashion department, wearing colorful lace-up trousers, which she teamed with a long-sleeved white shirt and brown sandals.

In keeping with her chilly vibe, the Homeland star tucked her short blonde tresses away from her face with a white scarf.

With a two-toned gray bag over her shoulder, the longtime leading lady appeared to have a serious conversation with her husband at one point.

Two years after ending his hit series Homeland, Danes is back on TV with two new series in 2022.

The actress began filming the drama Fleishman Is In Trouble back in February. The nine-episode limited series, created by writer Taffy Brodesser-Akner, follows Toby Fleischmann (Jesse Eisenberg), a doctor and recently divorced woman who enters the mysterious world of online dating.

Although he finds himself much more successful than he imagined, his life is turned upside down when Claire’s heroine, Rachel, disappears, leaving him with the children.

Toby finds himself juggling his parenting responsibilities with a new promotion at the hospital where he works and all the eligible women Manhattan has to offer while discovering what happened to Rachel and their failed marriage.

No word yet on when Fleishman Is In Trouble will premiere on Hulu’s FX.

Earlier in the year, Danes also returned to television in the gothic romance period drama miniseries The Essex Serpent.

She plays London widow Cora Seaborn, a woman who moves to Essex to investigate reports of a mythical snake. After all, Vora forms a surprising bond of science and skepticism with the local pastor (Tom Hiddleston), but when tragedy strikes, the locals accuse her of attracting the creature.

The show, which premiered on Apple TV+ on May 13, also stars Frank Delaney, Clemence Poesy, Hayley Squires, Jamael Westman, Lily-Rose Aslandogdu and Gerard Kearns, among others.

Most recently, Dancy starred in the historical drama Downton Abbey: A New Era, which premiered in May.

The 47-year-old British actor is also known to fans for his roles in the film adaptation of David Copperfield (2000), as well as in Black Hawk Down (2001), Shooting Dogs (2005) and the NBC series Hannibal (2013-2015). .
