Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.
Courtney Love shocked fans with some good news on Friday as she announced she finally finished writing her memoir after a decade of “pulling my A-“.
While revealing her upcoming book, titled “The Girl with the Most Cake,” the singer thanked her ghostwriter Alex Abramovich and her publisher, HarperCollins.
“Dude(s). I think I must have just signed my book… after a decade of me pulling one out —” she wrote on instagram,
But according to Luv, the release date of the book is hazy.
She wrote, “There is a (not kidding) very real power supply chain, so don’t ask me when (the important thing is that it’s good now.)”
Prem teased what fans can expect from the memoir.
“I think 29 is life and counting. Right place, right time (and sometimes even wrong!)
The Whole Frontwoman said she changed parts of the memoir to include more personal details of her family, including her mother and her “impossibly glamorous grandmother”.
“F—a false narrative because that’s what people ‘like.’ The truth is so much funnier, more rich, more understandable. And there are so many more rags!” Love added.
“The Girl with the Most Cake” was scheduled to be released in 2013, but things didn’t go as planned for Love. In 2014, she called the project a “disaster” and fans were forced to be patient for its release.
Love married Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain in 1992, and they welcomed daughter Frances Bean Cobain that year.
The great musician passed away in April 1994.
