Naga Chaitanya’s most awaited film of 2023, Custody is all set to release in theaters on May 12, 2023. Director Venkat Prabhu’s action-entertainer, Custody raised high expectations with the release of the first teaser of the film. Now, the makers of the film starring Naga Chaitanya and Kriti Shetty have unveiled a trailer which looks powerful and intriguing.
The story of the protagonist (Naga Chaitanya) protecting the antagonist (Arvind Swami) and not letting him die looks quite thrilling. Naga Chaitanya plays the role of a constable who upholds the law. While her love story with her partner (Kriti Shetty) is in trouble, she is forced to marry another guy.
Naga Chaitanya plays a cop who fights against powerful people in the society and he looks convincing. Kriti Shetty is the leading lady, while Sharath Kumar and Priyamani are in lead roles.
The background score by maestro Ilaiyaraaja and his son Yuvan Shankar Raja works frame by frame. After a very long time, Naga Chaitanya is seen doing a pure action film and movie watchers can’t wait to know what is going to happen next.
Custody’s trailer ends with him saying, “It will take time to win trust, but it will definitely happen.”

Srinivas Chitturi is producing the film under the banner of Srinivas Silver Screen. SR Kathir is the cinematographer, Rajeevan is the production designer and DY Satyanarayana is the art director of the film.
Custody will have a worldwide theatrical release on May 12, 2023.
