Last week, the Foo Fighters frontman fed over 500 people at a homeless shelter in Los Angeles.

Meet the in-house chef Dave Grohl, who led Foo Fighters, recently spent 18 hours smoking and roasting meat after rounds to help the organization reach its goal of serving 3,500 meals in communities in need. in L.A.
“We try to find a way to keep up with our launch. and continues to distribute 3,500 meals a month,” Feed the Streets shared on Instagram. “It’s not easy. Especially since many communities experiencing food insecurity rely on us for proper meals five times a week. On a rainy and cold day We got a message from Dave Grohl (codename: Dolce & Gabana) — he said he heard about what we were doing and wanted to help.”
The organization shared a video of Grohl packing multiple grills and covering slabs with specialty ingredients for the hours-long cooking process. “He spent 18 hours smoking brisket, ribs and pork with his crew. Food,” Feed the Streets shared. “They stayed up all night until the sun came up.”
The next day, Grohl and his crew packed food and transported it to MacArthur Park. “All they had to do was ship it and leave. We until everyone at the park is fed,” the organization explains. “If that’s not a hero, We didn’t know it was a hero. Stay tuned. D&G will be back serving Yucca and Skid Row soon!”
last week Grohl helps Hope of the Valley, another non-profit organization that provides services to those in need of food, shelter and clothing. Cooking enough meat to serve 500 people, he spent 16 hours offering a meal of pork ribs, tenderloin, cabbage, coleslaw and beans.
