Recently, in an interview with Armchair Expert podcast channel Priyanka Chopra corrected when RRR is called ‘Bollywood film’, she said that RRR is ‘Tamil film’. It’s like ’50s Hollywood where few stars and big studios control everything. “Bollywood has evolved in incredible ways. You have big action scenes that are mainstream. A love story and a dance…” When Dax interrupted her to say “RRR…” Priyanka quickly corrected by saying, “It’s a Tamil movie anyway.” And not just once. She called it a Tamil movie many times. She added, “It’s like a big blockbuster that does all of that… It’s like our Avengers.”
