The two returned to England yesterday after winning the final – where two-thirds of Sun readers correctly predicted the doubles victory.
She won the glamorous finale over Dami Hope and India Pollack, Gemma Owen and Luca Bish and Andrew Le Page and Tasha Gouri.
Eakin said of making the final two on Love Island: “Finding the man of your dreams and just growing up feels so real.”
On what she liked most about David, she said: “Apart from the perfect body, I would definitely say there was an instant spark and the feeling of a real butterfly.”
She summed up their relationship as “absolutely bonkers”.
Meanwhile Gemma describes both her and Luca as “stubborn as hell” and says “we both fight like crazy.
In a departure from the previous series, the winning pair were tasked with deciding whether to split or steal the £50,000 prize pot.
This could be equally good for David, as Sun recently revealed blatant texts from Akin-su to a friend, explaining that if his connection wasn’t genuine, he’d be out for the entire prize. How would you be “tempted” to steal the pot?
Asked what Ekin thought she would do if she won, the 27-year-old Turkish actress wrote: “It’s a game show at the end of the day, it’s business. If it’s not real I’d be tempted.
“But I’m at the right age to find the right man. I know what I’m looking for. I want to find The One.”
