Elton John and her husband David Furnish looked very excited to meet the cast of The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical in Chicago on Wednesday night.

But it looks like the 75-year-old Rocketman singer didn’t get the memo because she wore her favorite Gucci head-to-toe look for the outing.

He saw the show at the James M. Nederlander Theater – and wrote the score for the show, which will go to Broadway the following month.

Elton wore bold pink-lens sunglasses with a Gucci logo red T-shirt and a plain blue jacket. David, 59, also wore Gucci, opting for a striped top, blue jacket and cream chinos.

The brand has dressed Elton over the years and the superstar has also worn the designs on his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour.

The 2006 film, The Devil Wears Prada, starred Meryl Streep, 73, as icy editor-in-chief Miranda Priestley, which was adapted from Lauren Weisberger’s 2003 novel of the same name.

Meryl earned an Academy Award nomination for her role in the film.

The bestseller was a sharp Roman clef of the author’s experience as an assistant to Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

Anne Hathaway, 39, plays Priestley’s long-suffering assistant Andy Sachs. It starred Emily Blunt as Andrea’s co-assistant and Stanley Tucci as Amanda’s mentor Nigel Kipling.

It will be led by Shaina Taub’s new stage hit feature lyrics and produced by Kevin McCollum, a book by Paul Rudnick.

“It was important to Anna that we premiere in Chicago,” the producer told the Chicago Tribune.
