Eva Marcille shared a secret post on Instagram following news that she was divorcing Michael Sterling after five years of marriage.
The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum filed paperwork last week. saying that their labor union “irreparably broken” and “no chance for reconciliation”
In her Instagram story Tuesday, Bravolebrity sat next to a friend before smiling for the camera and saying, “Tuesday-yay”
“That’s a fake smile. But that’s okay,” she continued. “Are you still smiling?”
The reality star previously posted a drawing showing a ballerina wearing pointy shoes. The other was covered with blood and bandages.
“Pain beneath beauty,” the image was captioned. which seems to be a profound reference to her current situation.
The 38-year-old tied the knot with lawyer Sterling in 2018.
The couple welcomed two children: son Michael “Mikey” Jr., who turns 5 next month, and son Maverick, who will celebrate his 4th birthday in September.
Marcille also shares 9-year-old daughter Marley with R&B singer Kevin McCall.
However, Sterling raised the little girl herself and even gave her a last name in 2020.
In filing for divorce, Marcille demanded legal and primary custody of the children, as well as child support.

As for the couple’s assets, the “America’s Next Top Model” winner said she wanted everything split equally.
“This is one of the hardest decisions I have ever made. But sometimes life takes you on a journey that you didn’t expect,” she told People in a statement.

In 2017, the couple got engaged on Christmas Day. But since then it’s been in “Status of separation in good faith,” according to Marcille.
Sterling appeared on “RHOA” in seasons 11 and 12 when Marcille was the mainstay on the hit show Cheers.
She hasn’t returned to the show since Season 13.
