Eva Marcille’s estranged husband Michael Sterling is ready to “fight” to save their marriage. After she filed for divorce last week
“I will not lose my wife. I will fight for her with all my strength,” the attorney wrote in a statement obtained by Page Six Wednesday.
“I love you and I plan to show you how much I love you. And our love is strong enough to cross over to the other side.”
Sterling concluded that “I will not lose my wife. I will get her back.”
Sterling did not specifically detail how he planned to repair the relationship.
Marcille, 38, filed for divorce from Sterling on March 23 after five years of marriage, but the news did not linger until this week.
The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum is different from her ex. Doesn’t seem to care much about her divorce filing making the headlines.
Marcille encouraged her followers to “keep smiling” in a video posted to her Instagram Story Tuesday.
The “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Ex-Wives Club” alum claimed in her divorce filing that her relationship with Sterling was “Irreparably broken” and without “opportunity for reconciliation”
Marcille also asked for child support. as well as the legal and primary custody of two sons, 4-year-old Michael “Mikey” Jr. and 3-year-old Maverick.

“This is one of the hardest decisions I have ever made. But sometimes life takes you on a journey that you didn’t expect,” she told People in a statement Tuesday.
“Our children remain our top priority and the eight and a half years we spent together will always be precious. We ask that you respect our privacy at this time.”

Marcille and Sterling got engaged on Christmas Day 2017 and married a year later in October 2018.
The former “Housewife” also has a daughter, Marley, 9, with R&B singer Kevin McCall, but the little girl took Sterling’s surname in 2020 after he raised her as his own daughter.
