Aditya Roy Kapur left everyone speechless with her amazing performance in The Night Manager co-starring Anil Kapoor. If you have seen this show You know it ended abruptly and there’s a second season coming soon. The creators reportedly filmed the entire show at one time. But the second part will only come out in June, as Aditya sat down with Pinkvilla for an exclusive chat with his co-star Gumraah, Mrunal Thakur, and opened up about what fans thought about the show.

When we asked Aditya Roy Kapur, was the decision to split The Night Manager in two a deliberate decision? The actor replied, “Oh, this was not my decision. Here are their platforms and divisions. And I think they want this to spread for a longer period of time. I think a lot of people tell me they’re not fans of this decision, ‘They’re like, we love it, but why are you doing this?’ So I said it wasn’t me and June wasn’t far behind. It’s getting closer.” Speaking to the original creators praising the Indian version of The Night Manager, Aditya said, “Oh! It gives a lovely feeling. We’re all the ones who look down on actors. So it’s always nice when people appreciate it. But especially when OGs think we respect their work and do a good job with it. So it feels really good.”

meanwhile During the launch party for Gumraah Aditya’s trailer, Roy Kapur also spoke about playing a dual role in Gumraah, calling it ‘challenging’. It’s a challenge but maazaa aa gaya both characters. We had to make it look different. I learned the words and made the two characters sound different. Working on a thriller has to be one step ahead of the audience. not vice versa.”
Directed by Vardhan Ketkar, Gumraah is a remake of the Tamil film Thadam and is slated to hit theaters on April 7.
