Former CNN anchor Felicia Taylor has been arrested in Palm Beach for an alleged hit-and-run.

Retired anchor-correspondent working for CNN International’s “World Business Today”, Palm Beach police said she was arrested on July 28 after she allegedly hit another car while driving her white Mercedes, injuring the other driver, then drove off the scene. She denies the allegations.

According to incident reports, 57-year-old Taylor hit the rear bumper of a black Ford driven by a 24-year-old man who was stopped in traffic ahead of his Mercedes.

The second driver was treated at the scene by the EMT and complained of pain in jaw, head, neck and back. Taylor was evaluated twice by an EMT and was found to be unwell.

Taylor was arrested and taken to Palm Beach County Jail, where he was charged with reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident with injuries. He was released on $3,000 bail and pleaded not guilty.

Taylor was reportedly so intoxicated after the accident on Main Street in Sag Harbor late on 4 September that he was taken to Southampton Hospital “for a medical evaluation,” according to police. He was charged with aggravated DWI.

Taylor did not return Page Six’s call for comment. Her lawyer, David Roth, was traveling and could not be reached immediately.
