“FNF” rapper GloRilla is maximizing her debut season with good deeds — just ask her alma mater, who was just surprised with a $25,000 check!!!
Glo returned home to Memphis on Thursday at Martin Luther King Preparatory High School, where she donated the funds to the school’s fine arts programs in hopes of encouraging more talented performers down the line.
MLK Prep Principal Chiquita Perry accepted the check in front of students and faculty members and Glo called that he was able to return a blessing just like her recent single.
As we reported, Glo’s charity check comes on the heels of Cardi B too visiting her former school stompinggrounds, where she presented her high school with a whopping $100k check earlier this month.
As fate would have it, the two rap stars are teaming up for Glo’s upcoming single “Tomorrow 2” … which drops Friday.
Glo is the front-runner to be hip-hop’s 2022 rookie. Her breakout hit “FNF” dropped in April and peaked at No. 49 on the Billboard Hot 100 … earning her a cash-packed deal with Yo Gotti to boast with a $500K scholarship.
The last time we spoke to Glo, she said she already wants to invest her signing bonus and isn’t spending money just for the sake of “The Gate”.
We’ll say that giving back to your old school is a reason to open that piggy bank!
