She added a pair of black and white Nike trainers and wore a black face mask over her nose and mouth.

Halle, who rose to fame performing as Khloe x Halle with her older sister, donned multiple necklaces of varying lengths.

Her trouser pockets featured large cargo pockets and she draped a black Tory Burch bag across her torso.

Her slicked back brown hair was pulled back into a neat bun and she showed off a metallic silver chrome manicure.

Bailey posed in the outfit in her latest Instagram post, for which she turned off comments.

She wrote in the caption to her 3.5 million fans: “kissed by the sun with @tiffanyandco #tiffanylock.”

Bailey admitted she feels “pressure” to do the best job possible after taking on the role of Ariel in the upcoming live-action remake of The Little Mermaid.

Her casting sparked outrage from some online critics, who claimed she was unsuitable for the role due to her ethnicity.

In an interview with Well! News she said: “I definitely think that because I love this movie so much and I’ve appreciated it since I was little, I really put a little bit of pressure on myself.

“Just because I want to convey all the feelings I saw when I was a little girl.”

Unfortunately, not everyone was keen on the beauty winning the lead role in the film.

One Twitter user wrote on the app: “Hey @disney I actually think @rachelzegler is a good choice for the role of Snow White because she looks exactly like her. But @hallebailey is #NotMyAriel.’

The West Side Story star actress supported Halle, responding to the tweet with “if you don’t support my girl Halle who is the perfect Ariel, you don’t support any of us.”

The upcoming film, which also stars Jonah Hauer-King, Art Malick, Noma Dumezweni, Javier Bardem and Melissa McCarthy, is set for a spring 2023 release.

And the voice actress from the original Little Mermaid movie, Jodi Benson, showed her support by re-sharing an animated image of two Ariels – one white and one black.
