And Bondi couple Nick Pembroke and Lavinia White have revealed that moving in together, at times, is what really strengthened their relationship.

Lavinia, 27, told Yahoo Lifestyle Taking on that challenge with fiancé Nick, 30, on Tuesday was the ultimate compatibility test — and he passed with flying colors.

She explained, ‘It was really cool to be able to trust each other and have each other’s backs and I think it made us really proud of each other.’

She continued: ‘We learned so much about ourselves and each other and we worked so well as a team.’

Nick echoed these sentiments, believing that his time on the show was the ‘best’ thing they could do before getting married.

He said that having made it so far in the competition with Lavinia, he had never been ‘more confident and excited to spend the rest of his life’ with her.

Lavinia and Nick were at the center of controversy on Sunday’s episode, when fans accused the hunters of breaking the rules to catch them.

He made a complete fortnight off by staying away from friends and family and not using the bank card given to him at the start of the contest.

But eventually the couple found themselves in need of money as they were getting ‘cold, tired and hungry’.

However, as soon as they went to take out the cash they were entitled to spend, as per the rules of the game, the Hunters decided to throw a spanner at work.

They froze the couple’s ATM cards in order to capture them, even though all the other teams have taken advantage of this emergency cash resource.

The hunters capture Nick that episode, leaving Lavinia on her own.
