He continued: ‘It quickly showed me that people watching the show would be thinking, “Hmm, maybe I should start watching a wider range of people.”
The Masked Singer NZ host said the real “appeal” was to find out which contestants were on the island for love and which were after the $100,000 cash prize.
The most dramatic moments in the sizzling new show revolve around The Disruptors coming to shake things up when people least expect it.

Clint laughed, ‘Disruptors are like new flesh, they come when everyone depends on the partners they are with.
‘Timing is important. Sometimes a disruptor will come at a good time, and other times they will come when everyone is very well connected and plays the game too hard.’
The Dancing With The Stars NZ contestant said the physical challenges are when the contestants are really put to the test.

He added: ‘Some of the challenges are very physical – we had to call the medicine once or twice.
‘Sometimes the boys would have a little bit of passion, because there were some face-to-face things that involved a little bit of combat action.
‘There was a challenge we had to stop and go back to do it the next day, just to reassess how broken they were and whether they were able to move on.
‘Challenges are always fascinating because they make people wonder whether they should be paired with someone they really are in, or with someone who is really great at challenges and can get ahead in the game’ .’
