Explore how this woman tried to learn about sex. Because it is the most exciting topic for young people in general. No divorce — it’s interesting to play. into that world and imagine how I would react in that situation, you know, to be the woman I am today. I try to bring a modern connection to my sexuality through Betty and through her repressed feelings in that environment.

It’s actually such a perfect design that when we revisit these characters in the first film, for example, she’s dating Kevin. So there’s no risk of her having an adventurous sex drive. He doesn’t care!
This poor poor girl (laugh) That’s the little arc and her first journey we go through. She and Kevin, but the arc continues for her. The core of her storyline in season 7 is exploring her sexuality and fighting everyone who tells her to keep it in her pants. Tell her that she should be ashamed. It’s great for young women. Even today in general who live in a society that likes to humiliate and approach women for dates or whatever. It’s fun to play a woman who is obsessed with having her own experiences. being seen and following her desires I had a great time playing it. And I did my best with everyone on the show.

She can turn on whenever you see her. If I could describe Betty this season in one word. It must be horny (laugh)

We thank you! Now, when do these characters begin to realize that Jughead might understand something about them that isn’t from this moment? Because they can always buy anything.
I know! (laugh) And that’s a good question. I don’t know. I don’t know how the show will end at this point. We still have a lot of time left. We’re just halfway through the season and it’s all in the hands of (actor) Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. So you know he’s using the laptop and figured it out. This show is in good hands and I think to be honest Roberto wants to end the show the way he wants to end it and he’s not going to do fanservice just for fanservice, right? That was something he was always obsessed with. And I respect and appreciate that. I know what people want to see. and know how they want the story to end But I don’t know how it will end. I will say that I don’t think it has to have the same ending that people want. I think it’s going to end on its own. Riverdale type of method
Have you selected the items you brought home from the set?
I started a small list so I won’t forget. So far the only thing I have is a menu from Pop’s. I want that frame but I don’t know what else. I look around Betty’s bedroom. and i was like “I don’t want to be like that. And it’s not either!” (laugh) Yeah, I don’t know. I once asked on Instagram, “What should I take home?” and people told me to bring my co-stars home.
I feel the menu will be easier. It’s very symbolic and perfect. Riverdale.
Yes. And I’ll find other trinkets, I’m sure, but I don’t want to be a hoarder either. I have seven years of memories. And if I want to go see the episodes, I can. It’s always there.
