Hillary Clinton is happy that her top aide Huma Abedin is dating Bradley Cooper.
Page Six exclusively revealed last month that Abedin has been secretly seeing Cooper after having been set up by Vogue Doyen Anna Wintour.
A source told Page Six: “Hillary absolutely approved of Huma dating Bradley.
“Hillary sees Huma as the second daughter, and she has blessed their relationship.”
After all the drama around Clinton’s Emails and Abedin’s Soon-to-be ex-husband Anthony Weiner The source further added that the former First Lady is happy that her trusted aide is spending time with someone who won’t cause public embarrassment.
“After Hilary’s email and whatever happened to Anthony Weiner, Hilary is joking that she’s thrilled that Huma is dating a man who isn’t involved in politics.”
The source continued, “Anna Wintour may have installed him, but Hillary’s blessing sealed the deal.”
Page Six exclusively revealed in July that Abedin, 46, and Cooper, 47, were quietly dating.
Another source says they are taking things slowly as they get to know each other, meanwhile Cooper is busy filming “Maestro,” a biographical film based on the life of Leonard Bernstein.
Representatives for Clinton and Abedin did not comment. Cooper’s representative did not get back to us.
