Iggy Pop shares a new film documenting an exclusive, in-depth conversation with fellow icon Flea, directed by Emmy and Grammy Award-winning filmmaker Thom Simny (Bruce Springsteen, Wi. all losers It establishes Iggy’s signature lyrical aggression on the solid foundation provided by killer contemporary rock legends, including Andrew Watt’s recently released Iggy Pop & The Losers, Duff McKagan ( Guns N’ Roses) and Josh from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Klinghofer and Chad Smith, as well as Blink-182’s Travis Barker, Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins, Stone Gossard of Pearl Jam and Dave Navarro of Jane of Addiction, Chris Chaney and Eric Avery.
Pop underscored the album’s arrival by teaming up with punk magazine founder and editor John Holmstrom to re-release the legendary album. The new edition of Punk fully focuses on the unique life and career of the Godfather of Punk.
Iggy Pop & The Losers made their high-profile television debut earlier this year with a rousing performance of ABC’s “Frenzy.” Jimmy Kimmel Live!
