Cher said that Tina Turner was in a very good mood before her death at the age of 83.
During Thursday’s episode of MSNBC’s “The Beat with Ari Melber,” the “Believe” singer revealed she recently visited Turner at his home in Switzerland because she wanted to keep their friendship strong.

Cher said that Turner was initially a bit skeptical about the visits, insisting that she “couldn’t spend too much time” around people due to her declining health.
“Then five hours later we were laughing like crazy … Despite the fact that she was really sick and didn’t want people to know about it, she had a good time,” Cher explained.
Despite having a dialysis machine with her in her final days, Cher said Turner remained “so strong” after “fighting this disease for so long”.
“But I know, towards the end, she told me once, she said, ‘I’m really ready. I just don’t want to keep at it anymore,'” the 77-year-old singer said. “
