Congratulations are coming for Jan Kramer!
The “One Tree Hill” alum, 39, announced she and Alan Russell, 42, are engaged on Thursday on the “Whine Down” podcast.
“So, Alan and I … have been dating for six and a half months,” she told listeners. “And he asked me to marry him!”
Kramer extended the sweet proposal, which took place in their new home with their daughter Jolie, 7, and son Jace, 4 — which she shares with ex-husband Mike Cossin.
“It was a really beautiful night and the kids and I were sitting on the steps of the front porch and looking out,” she explained.
“He called my name and I got up and then he got down on one knee,” she continued. “And then Jolie just started jumping up and down… It was the sweetest thing ever. It’s like, she knew what was happening.
Although Kramer “blacked out” and doesn’t remember exactly what Russell said, she says they both burst into tears.
“I felt very emotional seeing the front porch of the new house and the fresh start. It felt right,” Kramer explained, noting that the proposal was “really what[he]wanted.”
Kramer also shared the exciting news on her Instagram, posting a series of engagement photos captioned with a red heart emoji.
In one snap, the singer showed off her new bling while cuddling up to her kids and soon-to-be husband on their front porch.

Russell, who lives in London, also shared the life update on his social media.
He wrote, “It always feels right to be with you and have been since the day I met you @kramergirl I am proud to call you my fiancee and cherish every minute we spend together.” “I love you my little warrior xxx.”
The pair made their red carpet debut at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in March — just four months into their relationship.
Back in January, Kramer revealed she was in a long-distance relationship on her podcast, but insisted she was taking things slow.
She told her listeners, “I don’t know if this is my forever person. … I’m not going to turn love away just because I’ve been hurt before. I’m going to embrace it.
Soon after, she went Instagram-official with the former soccer player, sharing a photo of the couple hugging and giggling in Downtown Nashville, where she lives.
This will be Kramer’s fourth time down the aisle. She was married to Michael Gambino in 2004 before settling down with Jonathan Schaech in 2010. However, the couple split after a year.
He then married Cousins in 2015 but filed for divorce six years later due to the former NFL star’s infidelity.
