Kim Kardashian slimmed down her outfit with a tiny diamond D&G bra after being forced to jump up the stairs in an extremely tight dress…
Jenny Mollen has spoken candidly about the abortion care she received after two miscarriages.
The actress experienced her first pregnancy loss early in her relationship with Jason Biggs, with the second occurring during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Both times I needed a D&C [dilation and curettage] and received abortion care, both times I was so grateful to live in a country where that was possible,” Molen, 43, told his followers on Instagram in Thursday.
The Angel alumna, who is mum to sons Sid, 8, and Lazlo, 4, expressed her gratitude for the “capable hands” she was in during the procedures.
“It’s important to understand that when we say abortions are life-saving and vital medical procedures, that’s part of what we’re talking about,” she continued, criticizing the “unconscionable” abortion bans in place in many states from Roe v. Wade was overruled in June.
Molen noted that she “shouldn’t stay silent” about her own experience with abortion, thanking Chrissy Teigen and Busy Phillips for inspiring her with their stories and “helping raise awareness of this critical issue.”
Teigen, 36, said in September 2020 that she suffered a miscarriage and lost her son, Jack, but clarified last week that she actually had a “life-saving abortion.”
The Cravings cookbook author explained: “It became very clear halfway through that he wasn’t going to survive and that I wasn’t going to survive either without medical intervention. … Let’s just call it what it was: It was an abortion.”
When Teigen received backlash for her message, she hit back at the haters via Twitter.
“I knew it was going to happen,” the model, who is mother to daughter Luna, 6, and son Miles, 4, tweeted at September 16. “It doesn’t make me feel any worse.”
As for Phillips, she’s also a mother of two, sharing Birdie, 14, and Cricket, 9, with estranged husband Mark Silverstein.
The 43-year-old “Freaks and Geeks” alum has spoken out for years about having an abortion at the age of 15.
“It’s not brave for me to say I had an abortion at 15 because it was a medical thing — something, a choice I made, and I don’t regret it at all,” she told Gunnett Paltrow in a 2019 interview.
Phillips noted that he does not feel any “shame” about the decision.
