Katie Holmes proved she’s a fashionista through and through as she looked super stylish while caught in the rain in NYC! The gorgeous actress who is currently starring in an off-Broadway production of the tramps was spotted leaving the Laura Pels Theater in New York City on Friday, March 3. Rocking her signature cropped denim trousers and a camel lined coat, Katy kept it tight but managed to look chic too.

The actress was solo on her outing in the Big Apple, which is a rarity as she likes to be accompanied by her adorable teenage daughter Suri Cruisewhich Katie shares with her ex-husband Tom Cruise. Katy even spent a recent shopping spree with Suri, which came just weeks after it was reported that Katy had split from the musician Bobby Wooten III, after eight months together. The pair were first spotted together in April, but earlier in December sources revealed they had split Us Weekly. “They just didn’t make it together long-term,” an insider told the publication.

Katy recently shared a rare glimpse into her life with Suri when she revealed the role her mini-man daughter plays in her latest film Alone together. The movie — which Dawson’s Creek star wrote, directed and starred in — includes a cover of “Blue Moon” by Suri, 16, in her singing debut! “I always want the highest level of talent,” Katie said Yahoo Entertainment for the fascinating collaboration. “That’s why I asked her!”

The doting mum continued to rave about Suri, explaining: ‘She’s very, very talented. She said she would and recorded it and I let her do her thing. That’s the way I direct in general: It’s like, “This is what I think we all want—go do something.”

According to Batman begins star, this isn’t the last time we’ll hear the sweet tones of the daughter she shares with her ex Tom Cruise. “She actually sings Rare itemswhich is the movie we did last fall,” Katie revealed, before adding with a laugh, “Also, she’s a 16-year-old kid in high school.”
