The famous couple were in attendance to support their daughter Susie Bacon, 30, who stars in the film.
Kevin Bacon was banned by Kyra Sedgwick from ‘dancing to Footloose dressed as a giant peanut’ for a commercial.
The actor has been married to the actress since 1988 and he revealed that she “doesn’t like it when the food talks”.
Kevin, who starred in the 1984 musical drama film Footloose, shared: “It’s true that I had to turn down dancing on Footloose dressed as a giant Peanut M&M commercial because my wife doesn’t like it when food is talked about.
“It’s something she has. If she sees a talking grape, it scares her. When there was an opportunity for me to be a talking M&M, she just said, “No, that’s too far.”

However, over the past decade, Kevin has appeared in many commercials for the British mobile operator EE.
The Hollywood star actually enjoyed doing light commercials because he has always struggled to get comedy roles in the film industry.
Kevin told the Guardian newspaper: “I’ve been involved in EE for over a decade.”
Different genre: “If I had my druthers [choice], I think I’d rather be known as a dramatic actor who occasionally wants to do comedy than a famous comedic actor who wants to be taken seriously as a dramatic actor. Our industry makes that transition much more difficult,” Bacon explained
“One of the first things I responded to was that the videos are funny and that I get to make fun of myself. I love comedy, but in our industry, comedy is a club you have membership in, and I’ve never been able to crack that membership. It’s never too late,” he added.
Kevin believes that it is difficult to switch between different film genres.
He explained: “If I had my druthers [choice], I think I’d rather be known as a dramatic actor who occasionally wants to do comedy than a famous comedic actor who wants to be taken seriously as a dramatic actor. Our industry makes this transition much more difficult.
