Lenny Kravitz (born Leonard Albert Kravitz on May 26, 1964) is a musician and actor.
Known for his sexy swagger, the star was born into showbusiness as the son of ‘The Jeffersons’ actress Roxy Roker and NBC television news producer Sy Kravitz. He began his professional music career in 1989, when he signed to Virgin Records and released his debut album ‘Let Love Rule’ that year. They had a huge breakthrough with their third album, Are You Gonna Go My Way, released in 1994. He won the first of four Grammys for Best Male Vocal Rock Performance.
In addition to his music career, Lenny has appeared in several films, including playing the character of Cinna in the blockbuster trilogy ‘The Hunger Games’. His personal life is also noteworthy. He was married to actress Lisa Bonet from 1987 to 1993, and the pair share daughter Zoe Kravitz.
