There was a big moment on tonight’s episode of Love Island when one couple finally made it official.
Ron Hall finally confirmed his relationship with Lana Jenkins after highs and lows.
A contestant picks up a blonde bombshell onto the balcony where he finally decides to ask her to be his girlfriend after admitting he’s been thinking about it for a few days.
Ron said to her: “We’ve known each other’s feelings for a long time.”
He then added: “I’ve never been in a relationship or anything like that. So for me it’s a big deal.
“We’ve talked about being exclusive. But that wasn’t enough for me.
“I need a name I want you to be my girlfriend.”
Lana giggled as she asked him back: “Now are you asking me?”
Ron excitedly clarified: “I asked you to be my girlfriend!”
Lana says yes before the pair embraces passionately to seal the deal.
As they shouted the news from the balcony to the islanders They were cheered for becoming the first official couple in the series.
Ron and Lana defeat Tanya and Shaq to the title despite both professing their love before heading to Casa Amor.
Lana is heartbroken by Ron’s actions at the start of the series. After he turned his head towards each new bullet that continuously entered.
That led Lana to the shocking decision of choosing Casey over Ron to show that she would play away if he did too.
Eventually, they both come to terms with their feelings for each other and reconcile again. And it seems to have been going smoothly ever since.
