The Turkish beauty was crowned the winner of Love Island 2022 along with her partner David Sanclimenti.

The popular pair going into the final was the heavy favorite – and two-thirds of Sun readers correctly predicted the pair’s victory.

Bookmakers also predicted that Akin-su and David, both 27, would run in the clearest win since 2018 winners Danny Dyer and Jack Fincham won 80 percent of the official vote.

But the islanders – especially Ekin-su – may not know how the public feels about them because they have no contact with the outside world while living in the villa.

Apart from a brief meeting with family members, who are not allowed to bring them news from outside, the islanders have no access to social media or their phones.

Fans who watched the eight-week series said they were excited to see Ekin-su leave the villa and see how widely she was loved across the country.

“Yeah I”Tea Wait to see Aikin’s reaction when she finds out how popular she is,” tweeted one fan.

Another wrote: “I can do,Tea Wait akin to how much we love him.”

A third added: “Simple you can’t wait for Akin to see how much she is loved when she is being bullied by the guys who are the people’s princess all summer!!”

And the fourth commented: “I can’Tea Wait for Eikin Su to come out and see how much love she has received from the public… the girl probably doesn’t know.”

She won the glamorous finale over Dami Hope and India Pollack, Gemma Owen and Luca Bish and Andrew Le Page and Tasha Gouri.

Eakin said of making the final two on Love Island: “Finding the man of your dreams and just growing up, it feels so real.”

On what she liked most about David, she said: “Apart from the perfect body, I would definitely say there was an instant spark and the feeling of a real butterfly.”

She summed up their relationship as “absolutely bonkers”.

In a departure from the previous series, the winning pair were tasked with deciding whether to split or steal the £50,000 prize pot.

Before winning the series, Eakin and David poured out their hearts for each other in a tear-jerking declaration of love.

And he cemented his feelings in the form of a passionate snog who pulled an “oh wow” from Gemma, who was watching from a neighboring table.

The writing was on the wall for the other finalists following the results of our survey, which polled 137,048 votes.

Gemma and Luca finished second behind Miles in a close fight for the runner-up spot with Tasha and Andrew.
