Scary moment during LSU women’s hoops team’s visit to the White House on Friday – freshman forwards sa’maiah smith left during the presidency Joe Bidenspeech of … but thankfully, head coach Kim Mulkey Says she is doing fine.
The incident happened minutes ago … when Biden was at the podium in honor of the Tigers’ historic NCAA title victory over the Iowa Hawkeyes in April.
The stream of the White House ceremony showed several players suddenly looking toward the middle of the group as Biden spoke … and seconds later, staff rushed to the stage.
The stream quickly cut off, but the audio was still playing … and you could hear Biden saying, “Guys, it’s okay.”
After a brief delay, the stream went live again … more coaches Kim Mulkey Provided an update on Sa’Maiya’s condition.
Mulkey said on stage, “For those of you who are concerned, Sa’maiya is fine. I’ll assure you of that.”
“She’s embarrassed at the moment. She doesn’t want to leave. She wants to stand with us, but she needs to check out.”

It was an interesting moment for Reese and Jill. Remember, Reese was in the beginning reluctant to go 1600 Pennsylvania Ave after FLOTUS showed interest in inviting Iowa as well.
reese later changed her mind …and said he’s excited to go with Coach Mulkey, Flau’Jae Johnson and his companions.
In fact, Reese, Flauzay, and Mulkey pulled off some cool watches …and showed them inside the White House.
