MGK The entertainment value of fans doubled – well, maybe more than 1.5x – when a pint-sized, look-alike superfan joined them on stage to perform their set!
Emily Joe Smith tells TMZ… his 6-year-old son, Michelle, is a die-hard fan of MGK and wanted to dress up like his rock hero to attend their Seattle concert. Mom and Michelle won great seats in the VIP section, and even chatted with MGK’s guitarist before the show.
But, the best part came when the curtain went up — we’re told that Mitchell told the guitarist that he really wanted to meet MGK, and the musician just said, “I got you.”
Next thing you know, he worked his magic. When MGK made a grand entrance – a prop escorted to the stage by helicopter – they played a few songs, then wandered into the crowd.
He knew what he was doing… MGK lined it up for Michelle and dragged her onto the stage.
It was a hilarious moment for the crowd, as Michelle looked like a mini-me version of MGK next to the rock star.
After this both of them said ‘AY!’ Launched in, a song recorded with MGK Lil WayneShowing his moves to the packed crowd.
Later, Michelle surprises MGK, handing her some. Kurt Cobain Pin as a gift. MGK was clearly moved. He called that moment “sick” and said… “Oh man, kids are so cool these days.”
It’s safe to say Michelle – now known as Lil MGK – will remember this night for the rest of her life!
