Storm raging in the home of Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady. Rumors of the serious crisis that the couple is going through have been circulating…
Country singer Maren Morris has taken aim at “cowardly” trolls as her feud rages with fellow country singer Jason Aldean’s wife, Brittany.
During the performance of Listening Podcast. on Wednesday, Morris spoke about having to deal with online “bullying.”
The ‘My Church’ hitmaker said the problem with social media is that “people can hide behind their phone screens in a cowardly way”.
“I totally feel for the kids that are dealing with this because I’m where I’m at and I’m still dealing with it,” Morris said.
“It never really ends, and it doesn’t matter if you’re bullied as a public figure or as a child, you’re just always going to face some adversity or someone trying to burst your bubble of happiness.”
Morris’ clash with Aldean began in August when the “Dirt Road Anthem” singer’s wife thanked her parents for “not changing” her gender during her “boy phase” in clip from Instagram.
“Lmao!! I’m glad they didn’t either because you and I wouldn’t have made it,” her husband replied in the comments section.
Maurice hit Brittany over the post, tweeting, “Is it that easy not to be a dirty person? Sell your clips and zip ’em up, Insurrection Barbie.
Brittany told FOX’s Tucker Carlson that she has received an outpouring of support since the exchange, especially from “people who have kids.”
“I stand up for the kids,” Aldean said in the interview. “I don’t think children should be allowed to make these life-changing decisions at such a young age. They are not mature enough.”
The feud also affected Brittany’s husband Jason, who parted ways with his PR firm of 17 years, The GreenRoom, after Brittany’s post, which many followers described as “transphobic.”
It comes just days after Morris revealed he didn’t “feel comfortable” going to this year’s CMA Awards amid the heated feud.
Morris’ hit record “Humble Quest” is up for Album of the Year, while Jason, 45, is up for Musical Event of the Year for his duet with Carrie Underwood “If I Didn’t Love You.”
