Many celebrities have come out to blame politicians for not doing more to protect children from this senseless violence. And several public figures, who currently live in Music City, took to social media to share their difficult experiences with the tragedy, including Melissa.

“My children went to the school next door to the school where the shooting took place today. We moved here from Connecticut. We were in a school a little further from Sandy Hook. So this was our second experience with a school shooting with the kids close by. Luckily we were all okay.”
Melissa goes on to say that she and her husband “On my way to school for a conference,” and on the way They saw a kindergarten student trying to escape a shooting at the Covenant School. So she rushed to help, she said:
“We help kindergarteners cross a busy street. They climbed out of the forest. They try to escape a gunman situation at school. So we help little children. These cross the road and take the teacher there. And we helped a mother reunite with her children. her again.”
Just a broken gut. Melissa then added:
“I just don’t know what to say anymore. Enough is enough. And just pray. Pray for the family.”
