Michelle Collins ‘to marry her toyboy fiancé Mike Davidson, 38, next week’

Michelle Collins is reportedly set to marry her Toyboy fiancé Mike Davidson next week.

The former EastEnders actress, 60, and Mike, who is 22 years her junior at 38, will say ‘I do’ on Wednesday, according to the claims.

Soap star Michelle confirmed her engagement in April by sharing a photo from a friend’s account on her Instagram Stories.

The picture showed the screen star drinking champagne with the caption: ‘Bride to be @michellecollins.’

A source said she told friends: ‘We know it’s late notice, but we’ve been together for 10 years and what’s the point of waiting.

‘We thought life was too short and we wanted to see all our friends and celebrate.’

It is claimed that after the ceremony, guests will be hosted at a reception in a split-level private bar in north London that features a Venetian chandelier and a pub with heated thatched roof.

Michelle revealed on social media in April that Mike had questioned the hike to Temescal Canyon in Los Angeles — a decade after the pair first met.

He told his Instagram followers: ‘So this happened in #la, he got down on a bent knee while we were on top of the #temescalcanyon, with basically no one else around us.

‘It’s #beautiful and I’m #10years #happy this April, that’s about the time I feel (sic).’

The actress previously hit out at critics over the 22-year age difference between the two and was disappointed to be branded as a ‘cougar’.

Michelle – who has also appeared in Coronation Street and Doctor Who – said in 2018: ‘Mike is 22 years younger than me and I am considered a stalker. This is driving me crazy. People call him my toyboy beau. He’s about 35 years old, for god’s sake.

‘ He turned to me the other day and said, ‘Surely I’m still not your toy, right?’

‘I laugh about it now but it’s annoying. And I hate that word cougar. I can’t stand it. I find this very indecent. A cougar is a hunter who is moving around in search of young meat. I am definitely not like that.’
