More harrowing details are unfolding about the shooting at a private school in Nashville, Tennessee.
In a press conference on Tuesday through populationMetro Nashville Police Chief John Drake It announced that the 28-year-old gunman “legally bought seven firearms from five local gun shops here.” Three of the guns were used to kill three nine-year-old students and three school officials on Monday morning. And the shooter’s parents didn’t even know their child had so many guns!

The perpetrator’s parents were unaware that there were seven guns in their home. at one point They believed that their son had only one weapon. which they thought had already been sold. They also feel that young people “Should not be armed” because they are under “Medical care for mood disorders,” John doesn’t elaborate, but damn, we already know gun control in this country is crazy. But this is more and more proof. How wrong the system is!
while chatting with NBC NewsThe police chief opened up about what he believed might have been the gunman’s motive. He said he thought the feeling of “dissatisfaction” might have come into play since they had joined. Testament Schoolwhich is a private Christian school, noting that:
“There is a belief that there is dissatisfaction with having to go to that school.”
Police also believe the school was targeted but not the only victim. Authorities found what was described as a “manifesto” at the gunman’s home. which indicates that the attack “Calculated and planned,” a press release on Monday revealed. Included in the statement are diagrams. “Draw school details,” including noting that entry and exit points include surveillance, Drake tells WebMD. NBC News:
“We have some writings we’re talking about that relate to what actually happened today. We have a map drawn of how all of this happened.”
Horrifyingly, the Promised School wasn’t the only place Hale was planning to attack. He continued:
“It (the statement) states that there will be shootings in several places. And school is one of them.”
Wow. This is already a terrible tragedy. But to think it could be worse is disgusting.
