The actor – who starred opposite Daniel Craig in the most recent 007 film – explained that she wants female roles in Bond films to be “brought to life in a different way”.
“There’s no need for a female Bond,” de Armas said recently. Sun, “There should be no need to steal someone else’s character, you know, to take over.
“It’s a novel, and it takes us into this fantasy of this James Bond world and the universe where it belongs.”
She continued: “What I would like is that the female roles in Bond movies, even if Bond remains a man, were brought to life in a different way.
“That they have been given a more important part and recognition. I think that is more interesting than turning things around.”

The actor recently revealed that he insisted on hiring a female writer for the film, finally landed promising young lady Director Emerald Fennell.
“Hiring a female writer was really important to me, because by the time I got into the project, it was only the director, Len Wiseman, and one other guy,” De Armas told allie, “And I was like, ‘This won’t work.'”
