Hosting the Oscars is truly an honor. But there’s no denying the serious pressure to perfect the show. And it’s hard to deny how diverse the program is.
Jimmy Kimmel Reinforcing his role as host of the 2017 Oscars made him one of the few hosts to return. He’s back in 2019, and this year he’ll be joking as the emcee for the 2023 Academy Awards.
Talking about returning to the Dolby Theater, the late night host told USA Today, “Hopefully leaving for a few years would be good. I don’t think you want to do it too many times because people turn their attention to you.”
Either you like them or you have to turn the volume down. These hosts have made the Oscars their own. Check out the gallery for the best Oscar hosts of all time here.
