Psy’s agency P Nation has shared its condolences after a construction worker died while vandalizing the set of the singer’s ‘Summer Swag’ concert.
Earlier today (August 1), Korea Jongang Daily Reportedly, a construction worker was killed the previous day after a fall at the Gangneung Stadium in Gangwon-do, South Korea.
The worker, reportedly a Mongolian man in his twenties, fell from a height of 15 meters on Saturday (July 30) breaking the set of Psy’s ‘Summer Swag’ concert held at the stadium. The man, working under an outsourced agency, was taken to a local hospital, but later died.
“We express our deepest condolences to the worker who passed away in an accident,” P Nation said in a statement later that day. “We also send our deepest condolences to the surviving family.”
“We will do our best to put in place measures to prevent another such accident with a sense of responsibility,” the agency said. He said it would help in taking care of the last rites of the deceased.
Psy’s ‘Summer Swag’ concert series, which ends later this month, may also be under scrutiny from South Korea’s Central Disaster and Security Countermeasures Headquarters for the spread of COVID-19.
Headquarters shared last week that it has received several reports from people who claim to have “contracted COVID-19 after attending a music concert that ‘sprayed water'”.
The ‘Gangnam Sile’ singer is known to have watered the audience during the annual summer concert show, which Korea Herald The report can use about 300 metric tons of drinking water in one incident.
