Paulina Porizkova claps back when “A thoughtful reader’s comment” after trolls bombarded her with photos of her latest underwear on Instagram.
The 57-year-old woman posted a summary of the commentary on Tuesday. To the reaction she shared the other day in her underwear, boots and cardigan.
Some of the model’s followers accused her of being “too old” and “too obsessed” with her looks in the comments. One social media user told her to “sit down”.
Another wrote: “You always seem to feel the need to prove something.”
Porizkova defended her “naked” photo in the caption. by writing that older women “Still sexy and potent. and certainly not invisible.”
While the actress agrees “in part” that her sexy image promotes, She criticized the “objectification of women” and made her “examined”, she blamed those who argued that she had not “representing a woman (her) age”
Porizkova wrote, “Because I’m tall and thin… I don’t look like other women of my age?
… We all don’t look different. And isn’t my beauty there? in our identity?
“What’s really sad here is the apparent insecurity of women who can’t find space to love themselves for who they are,” she continues. “For what their bodies can do. for what they can feel.”
Porizkova often shows off her fit body on social media. From nude and topless pictures to lingerie and bikini photos. and has previously addressed the criticism she often receives in an exclusive interview with Page Six Style.
“It’s not the guy who gets the worst reviews. Which is really interesting,” she told us in 2021. “(It’s) every woman my age says, ‘You’re desperate, you’re hungry, why don’t you just retire and take care of your kids and your family?’”
Porizkova added, “I think we’ve made great strides in embracing different types of beauty. I think the size and color and all these things that used to be one have expanded to a remarkable extent (scale), but age, old age, is like the final frontier.”
