Post your questions about Eddie Marsan

BBritish actors are no more versatile than Eddie Marsan. You may remember him from when he played a servant opposite Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible III, Sherlock’s consulting inspector with Robert Downey Jr. in Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, or as one of Simon Pegg’s last surviving innkeepers in The World’s End.

On TV, Marsan rose through The Bill, Casualty, EastEnders (and appearing as Samantha Womack’s wanted criminal and ex-boyfriend and in an episode of late 90s comedy Game On), to elder brother Terry Donovan in all seven series by Ray Donovan. In April, he starred in The Thief, His Wife and the Canoe, about a man who infamously reappears five and a half years after faking his own death in a canoeing accident.

After playing many different characters, what is he like in real life? The answer seems to be: you couldn’t meet a nicer person. It’s all great news, as Marsan prepares to answer your questions as he patiently waits for his new film, Vespa — a dystopian tale set in the aftermath of Earth’s ecosystem collapse — to hit theaters. So, think about what you’d like to ask, post your questions in the comments by 2pm on September 27th, and when the Vespa launches on October 21st, we’ll print what the great man has to say in film and music and online.
