Alum “Queer Eye” Tom Jacksonwho appeared in the show’s first season, died of cancer… and now fans are disappointed with the former hero.
according to his obituary Tom passed away on March 3 at 11:49 p.m. after dying of stage IV adenocarcinoma, an adenocarcinoma that doctors said was metastatic.
The show’s official website shared the sad news Wednesday on Instagram, posting… “We bid farewell to members of the Queer Eye family with heavy hearts. Rest in peace, Tom Jackson.”
Fans will probably remember Tom best from Season 1 of the Netflix reboot. After appearing in a premiere episode in 2018 alongside the Fab Five, he once dropped the iconic saying, “You can’t fix ugly.”
Before he was a reality TV star He used to work as a garbage truck driver in Georgia… after he retired from FedEx.

Tom is survived by two nephews, two sisters and his daughter. which also appears in this series
His family said in a statement: “We will never forget our dear Tom, he brought happiness, humor, perseverance and love to our family. He is special to us. And we hope to see him again one day.”
They also recommended that fans watch his episode “Queer Eye” in his honor.
Tom is 63 years old.
