Rachel Ray ends her long-running talk show after more than a decade. But the dietary content is still her meat and potatoes.
CBS announced Friday that the “30 Minute Meals” star will conclude her self-titled talk show after its current 17th season.
“In over 20 years in television, I’ve had 17 great seasons working in daytime television with ‘Rachel,’” she said in a press release. “however I have decided it is time for me to move on to the next exciting chapter in my broadcasting career.”
Ray’s announcement comes hours after Deadline revealed Friday that the Food Network personality will be launching a production company, Free Food Studios.

Ray’s announcement comes a month after CBS announced that Dr. Phil McGraw would also be ending his daytime TV broadcasts.
