And Robbie Williams paid tribute to his rocker roots with a slick new mohawk as he attended the entertainment line-up at the AFL Grand Final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia on Thursday.

The 48-year-old singer, who is due to perform at this weekend’s show, also stepped out wearing a pair of £250 Duke and Dexter Playboy ‘bunny girl’ loafers.

Robbie went full rock star style in a sparkly Joker-inspired sequined jacket while wearing one of his signature white vests.

He showed off his dozens of tattoos while bathing in some glittering jewelry.

Robbie was joined on the day by Delta Goodrem, who looked stunning in a chocolate brown suit.

The hitmaker will perform the duet Kids with Robbie, which he originally recorded with Kylie Minogue, on Saturday.

Speaking at the event, Robbie said: “I am honored to announce my very own Australia who is the most beautiful person, both inside and out, the beautiful and incredibly talented Miss Delta Goodrem.

“I haven’t picked a team for Saturday. I know a bit about football, saw the Swans semi final and thought it was an amazing advert for the sport.

“I really discovered the World Cup and that was pretty scary.

“It was a big deal. It’s Australia, so I’ll take it easy. I love the MCG, it’s an honor to be a part of it, an honor to play it.

“The rest of the world deserves to know about this sport because it’s easy to get addicted.”

The singer confirmed he would perform in the half-time show after AFL executive general manager Kylie Rogers told him he was “the greatest performer in the world”.

“You are the greatest performer in the world and we are the greatest game. We’ve got to do something together,” Rodgers told the star backstage after An Evening With Robbie at the Rod Laver Arena in May, The Herald Sun reported.

This started a discussion that led to the pop star finally accepting the job.

Robbie confirmed the good news about his upcoming performance in July.

G Flip, Temper Trap, Goanna and anthem-singing troubadour Mike Brady will also support Williams at the AFL grand final, The Herald Sun reported.
